Crusader for a Day
Friday, November 5, 2021
Eighth grade students are invited to spend a shadow day at Aquinas Academy High School to experience being a “Crusader for a Day” on November 5, 2021. If you are interested in this opportunity to shadow an Aquinas Academy high school student throughout the school day, please register here.
K–12 Admissions Process
In our admissions process, we evaluate student report cards and standardized test results from the last two years. Please submit the Academic Report Request to your current school. If previously home-schooled, then we evaluate your portfolio.
We also ask that students spend a shadow day at Aquinas Academy, where they can sit in on classes, meet teachers and students, and have lunch on us! The day is usually from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. There is even a special shadow day just for current 8th graders called Crusader for a Day.
An important element of the admissions process is a family interview at which parents and the prospective students meet with us to discuss their educational goals and the nature and mission of Aquinas Academy.

High School Placement Test
Saturday, April 2, 2022
After a student is accepted into our high school, we ask all incoming students to take the High School Placement Test. If you have recently been accepted to the high school, please schedule an appointment to take the placement test by contacting Mr. Joseph Austin, Director of Admissions, at 724.444.0722 Ext:15, or by email.
Please know that we do not use this test to determine which students are admitted to Aquinas Academy. The placement test will simply be used to assist the course selection process. This test assesses general knowledge in the areas of reading, writing, mathematics, and logic. There is no need to prepare for the placement test outside of your normal daily schoolwork. We just ask that all students try to do their best!
