Alumni Athletic Spotlight

Harry Hardman

Harry Hardman won the bronze medal and earned his “B” rating!

Harry Hardman, Aquinas Academy class of 2019 and former Aquinas fencing team captain, is a college freshman and fencer at Cleveland State University.

Hardman fenced in the Cleveland State University Duals and the John Szent Kiraly Memorial Open the last weekend of October. Hardman helped lead the Vikings to a clean sweep, finishing with an 11-1 individual bout record against Dennison, Carnegie Mellon, Case Western Reserve, and Michigan State. The following day at the Memorial Open, continuing an almost flawless performance, Hardman won the third place bronze medal and earned his “B” rating. A U.S. Fencing Association “B” rating is the second highest rating attainable and places him as one of the top three rated foil fencers in the Western Pennsylvania Division!
